The Israeli Pediatric Emergency Research Network (ISPERN), which consists of 20 Pediatric Emergency Departments in Israel, was formally established in 2020, although it had been active since 2018. ISPERN aims to facilitate and coordinate high-quality multi-center research among participating institutions nationwide, leading to the implementation of improved patient care practices throughout Israel and worldwide. The activity of ISPERN is endorsed by the Israeli Medical Association through Pediatric Emergency Medicine Israel (PEMI), which represents the Pediatric section of the Israeli Association of Emergency Medicine.
